Re: HPEoneview and Lifecycle manager
This usually indicates, that some components on your running ESXi are not available on an image, or cannot be upgraded.
Try to identify any driver or utility that is not available in the HPE addon depot. It might be needed to add some drivers also manually to LCM to satisfy these issues.

Re: HPEoneview and Lifecycle manager
Get your current vib list from your ESXi host (esxcli software vib list) and compare it with the drivers and components listed in HPE vendor Addon depot. If you have anything newer in your ESXi, those components prevent you from updating, since downgrades are not supported. Also verify, if you have any 3rd party utilities installed on ESXi. I, for example, got similar error, since i had HPE Nimble Connection Manager installed on my hosts. In this case i had to upload this component to LCM and add it to image, as additional component. Same applies for drivers. Anything newer installed, than on HPE addon, upload it manually to LCM and add as additional component. I know, it's quite unconvenient, but eventually you can get your image built. Later updates are already easier.

Re: HPEoneview and Lifecycle manager
Thanks. Now I am on the other cluster in this cluster I have optiopn to chhose esxi version and installed esxi version is :
- VMware ESXi, 7.0.2, 18426014
So due create single image I select esxi version : 7.0 U2c - 18426014 and did not upload any path and just upload HPE-702.0.0.10.7.0.52-May2021-Addon-depot.zip and select it in the vendor addon ?
1 - Is this correct ?
2- In the next step compare esxcli software vib list version with HPE-702.0.0.10.7.0.52-May2021-Addon-depot.zip there was just one difference for amsd , so I removed it and reboot esxi host but another show same error after pre-run check . what is the issue ?

Re: HPEoneview and Lifecycle manager
It may be that you are not using a supported combination of ESXi and HPE add-on.
There is a support matrix at https://vibsdepot.hpe.com/customimages/Valid-vLCM-Combos.pdf and it doesn't look like your combination is supported.
You might want to double check that.

Re: HPEoneview and Lifecycle manager
Is that your mean we can use vLCM when our esxi version is one of these ?
If your previous answer is Yes . but these are main version while we apply new patch this version changes . Is that your means if we applied path after that cannot use vLCM for update ?

Re: HPEoneview and Lifecycle manager
Perhaps because this is a 2-year old thread that is probably going to be ignored; even if it isn't; the history and context is a completely different set of conditions, versions, and bugs.

Re: HPEoneview and Lifecycle manager
Not sure why the age of a thread makes a difference, I always prefere to first use the search and then update a thread. Especially if the subject is as generic as this one.
