named required for iLO connections?

We are running vs 8.5.  All of the iLO interfaces managed by this OneView appliance are in a private non-routed network.  Does OneView have a requirement for those ip addresses to have a valid forward/reverse lookup in dns?   I can't find any mention of this in the installation guides.

Well, neither one of those has anything to do with OneView.  So, ...

No.  DNS is not required by OneView to monitor or manage an iLO.  None of the links to access the iLO UI or Remote Console rely on DNS either.
