Oneview - Expiration and number of licenses?

I'm a noob with Oneview, sorry....

1.) Does a Oneview license expire at a certain date or is it valid forever? (Just like the iLO adv. license)

2.) When I buy a Oneview license "per server" is it meant (a) "per managed system" (1000 in my case) or does it mean (b) the server/appliance that runs Oneview? (1 in my case)

3.) If 2b is true, how many servers can be managed with one license?

Re: Oneview - Expiration and number of licenses?

HPE OneView Advanced licenses do not expire within the appliance. The default 3 years Technical Support does. Licenses are per server and are never shared within the appliance. They are uniquely allocated to a server when added and cannot be changed or Unassigned.

Re: Oneview - Expiration and number of licenses?

Oneview licenses typically have an expiration date and are not valid forever, similar to iLO advanced licenses. When you purchase a Oneview license "per server," it usually refers to option (b) - the server or appliance that runs Oneview. If option 2b is true, typically only one server or appliance can be managed with one license.
