OneView or SIM
Hi,
I have a bunch of DL380 G7 servers, DL380p G8 and HP Modular Smart Array P2000's which are currently monitored manually.
I'd like to implement either HP SIM or OneView but don't know which route to go down.
Can anyone offer any advice and reasons why I should choose one over the other?
Thanks

Re: OneView or SIM
HP OneView does not offer any monitoring of the P2000. If monitoring of the P2000's are required, I would suggest you use HPSIM today. You could also use HP OneView for your DL Gen8 server management, but it does not offer management support for DL G7 or older, only monitoring.

Re: OneView or SIM
Hi, do you know whether there are plans to include support for P2000s & similar in future releases of OneView?

Re: OneView or SIM
While I cannot speak or discussion unreleased or future versions of products, we do take customer feedback back to the product team. It helps us determine the prioritization of features to be considered and included within future releases.
