Re: OneView Update Readiness Checker v2.2 Released

Hello,

I got the following output from URC 2.2:

Issue
The appliance update failed because it contains resources of the following type that are not supported with the update release:
тЧж Enclosure

Resolution
Remove all resources of this type before attempting to update again. Refer to the update's release notes and support matrix for more information about supported platforms.

does it mean that c7000 Enclosures are no longer supported by HPE OneView?

thanks and kind regards

Tom

Re: OneView Update Readiness Checker v2.2 Released

Hi Tom,

Thanks for your question. Yes the output you received means that with a OneView Appliance managing a c7000 enclosure will not be capable of updating to OneView 7.0 or later. There has been a few documents released and updated recently that refers to OneView 6.60 LTS which is the path you will follow with that c7000 Enclosure hardware. I reference these documents in order of how I would suggest you review the starting with the Product Lifecycle.
