OneView V 2.00.02-0219211 , getting a large number of Pause Frames in.
We have 2 C7000 chassis in OneView, 2 x 10GB uplinks on Bay1 & Bay2 of each chassis (X5 & X6). All uplinks are active. ESXi v5.5 environment and Windows2012R2 physical servers running MSFC. Teaming on Windows set to 'Switch Independent' and in VMware 'route based on originating virtual port'.
All firmware updated with SPP 2016.04 pack.
rfc2665Dot3InPauseFrames: (in 2 days got numbers as below).
Enc001 Bay1 X5 – 96,389,459
Enc001 Bay1 X6 – 45,170,188
Enc001 Bay2 X5 – 2,687,944
Enc001 Bay2 X6 – 2,865,549
Enc002 Bay1 X5 – 1,794,853
Enc002 Bay1 X6 – 99,531
Enc002 Bay2 X5 – 921,187
Enc002 Bay2 X6 – 2,576,898
Is this a problem ?
Regards Richard

Re: OneView V 2.00.02-0219211 , getting a large number of Pause Frames in.
Pause frames can be generated due to a number of conditions. Without knowing how long your Virtual Connect modules have been up and running, or the last time the counters were reset, simply saying 'yes, this is bad' or 'no, it isn't' can't be done with just looking at those counters. Also, The version of HPE OneView doesn't impact 'Pause Frames'. The underlying VC and adapter firmware (and adapter driver) can.
That being said, it appears that you are wokring this through HPE support. I would continue to work with your HPE Support Engineer to resolution.
