Unable to update firmware
Does anyone know how to resolve this error in OneView? I get the following message when trying to update the firmware of a server: "Unable to update firmware because the selected firmware baseline does not contain required iLO firmware version." I've uploaded the latest SPP which includes the iLO firmware as pictured in the screenshot below.
OneView version: 8.70.00-0486025
SPP version: Gen10 Service Pack for ProLiant 2023.09.00.00

Re: Unable to update firmware
Sorry I don't have a suggestion for you, but it would help readers to know the HPE OneView version and SPP name/version.
I work at HPE

Re: Unable to update firmware
I see both the version present and SPP version 2.96 version are same.
You can try building the customer SPP and include the .rpm file of ILO firmware.
Next option is to update the ILO firmware from ILO using fwpkg file

Re: Unable to update firmware
Thanks for the reply. The issue is that I can't install any firmware using the SPP whether I include the iLO component or not. Originally the iLO was at version 2.63. I tried installing the latest SPP (2023.09.00.00) to upgrade the firmware for all components and got this error. I manually updated the iLO to 2.96 using the fwpkg so that it would match the SPP and not require the update. However, i'm still getting this same error when I try install the rest of the updates in the SPP.

Re: Unable to update firmware
Try reseting the ILO and check again.
Else log a support ticket with HPE to verify the logs.

Re: Unable to update firmware
Unassign the profile and then update the firmware.

Re: Unable to update firmware
I unassigned a profile and still get the same error when updating the firmware baseline.
