Using the Custom KickStart file for OS deployment with static IP

Good morning, everyone
I want to install multiple servers with OneView for Vcenter and have created a build plan for this under “Deployment” with the appropriate ISO and a kickstart file.
I'm doing this on a Synergy, but I'm having problems with the static address. When I use the template, the static address I specify when deploying the OS is not used and it tries to use DHCP, which I don't have.
Does anyone have any experience with this and can give me a tip?
Many thanks

Hi @snoopy5707 ,
You need to ensure that your kickstart file is set up for a static IP, and if you want to use the static IP specified in the OneView server profile, you must use variables in your build plan and kickstart. Double-check that DHCP is not hardcoded anywhere in your process, and that your ISO or PXE environment allows static addressing.
Thank You!

Hi @Greeshma21
Thank you very much for your reply.
I have now found the error.
The problem occurs when Secure Boot is enabled.
According to VMware documentation:
The %firstboot script does not run if secure boot is enabled on the ESX host.
Best regards
