Hello,
vCenter-Server-version 7.0.3.01000-20395099
So we are facing an unknown fault when we add HPE OneView for vCenter as software depot for vLCM,
in vcenter logs we can find below error:
vum-server-log
value too long for type character varying(255)
SQL execution failed: UPDATE VCI_PACKAGES SET build_date = ?, bundle_id = ?, code_version = ?, component_name = ?, downloadurl = ?, installation_impacts = ?, locale = ?, name = ?, path = ?, payload_type = ?, pkg_size = ?, release_build = ?, signature = ?, signature_type = ?, software_tags = ?, version = ?, vib_type = ? WHERE id = ?
2023-04-13T08:50:12.920Z error vmware-vum-server[22823] [Originator@6876 sub=VciSigUpdateTask.SigUpdateTask{855}] [vciTaskBase 626] Task execution has failed: Unknown fault
integrity.fault.VcIntegrityFault
We opened a SR with vmware and they informed that its an issue from HPE side, below is their response:
This is a known issue and it happens because the HPE OV depot name is too long for the lifecycle manager to handle and exceeds the maximum.
Please open a ticket with HPE and report this issue to them and see if it's available for them to shorten the name (URL is too long and needs to be shortened). My suspicion is the URL you're trying to enter is wrong, so please check with HPE to confirm the URL is correct.
Anyideas?
using OV4VC 11.3 / OV 8.1

Re: vum-server error on patch definition update from OV4VC
Hello,
FYI, these are free cases and not tied to the serial numbers of your product because serial number is confidential information and should not be shared in public forums. Thats why they do not show up in support center also. , So they recommend calling tech support to perform proper analysis. This is what I found.
