Which port is used for remote support data collections from iLO to HPE OneView

We have been having problems for a few days that we cannot reach our iLOs via a certain network. Ping and ssh to the iLOs work, but port 443 is not accessible, so no login to the iLO GUI is possible. All iLOs in this network are affected. Our Cisco specialist is working on the problem, but has not yet been able to find a solution. We do not have a firewall between iLO and HPE OneView.
I have now discovered that I have a similar problem on another iLO network. I keep getting the error:

Now I have also noticed that “Data Collection Information” and “Active Health System Reporting Information” cannot be sent from iLO to HPE OneView. Can someone tell me on which port the information “Data Collection Information” and “Active Health System Reporting Information” is sent from iLO to HPE OneView? I could not see this connection on the page https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=a00111822en_us&page=s_security-open-ports-cic.html&docLocale=en_US.

Has anyone ever had a problem on the network where port 443 was not accessible, but ping and ssh worked? What is even more curious is that when I access the iLO GUI via VPN it works.

This is all accomplished over HTTPS (443/TCP). If you have a firewall in between, then you need to examine the policies deployed. The diagram you linked to shows this port both ways between ILO and HPE OneView Appliance.

Hello @ChrisLynch

Thank you for the information. I was afraid that it was also port 443, which is used for remote support between HPE OneView and iLO.
We don't have a firewall on these networks, which is why I find it so strange that port 443 is being blocked.
I suspect a problem in the Cisco network environment.
