Hi

What traffic is passed over the CDM network port?

Is network connectivty to the CDM only needed for the initial array configuration and can it be disconnected once the Alletra MP has had the management IP configured?

Hi CadenLange,

In spite of the fact that it is technically possible to disconnect the CDM port after the Management IP has been configured.
But, HPE recommends keeping the CDM port connected to ensure smooth cluster operations and easier troubleshooting in the future.
