Re: Cloud Console // add Storage Primera

Hi lober

The Subscription Key is a unique identifier that is associated with your HPE Primera storage system and is required to add the storage system to the HPE Data Services Cloud Console.

To obtain the Subscription Key for your HPE Primera storage system, you will need to perform the following steps:

Prerequisites
The HPE Primera 600 system has been initialized and is running HPE Primera OS 4.4 or higher.

Procedure
1. Log into the HPE Primera UI of the system to be managed with the Data Services Cloud Console.
2. On the main menu, select Settings.
3. On the Settings screen, click the Telemetry panel. The Telemetry screen opens.
4. On the Data Services Cloud Console panel, click Configure Data Services Cloud Console.
5. On the dialog that opens, click the Enable management from Data Services Cloud Console toggle. Click Save to close the dialog and start the connection process.

At first, a message will appear indicating that the system has not been added to HPE GreenLake and assigned to the Data Services Cloud Console. This initial message is expected behavior.

After the connection is established, the storage system Subscription Key is displayed on the Data Services Cloud Console panel of the HPE Primera UI.

Important: Record the Subscription Key. You must enter it when you onboard (add) the system to your account in the Data Services Cloud Console.

6. Important: While logged into the HPE Primera UI, record the storage system serial number. You must enter it when you onboard (add) the system to your account in the Data Services Cloud Console. To view the serial number, select System on the main menu. The serial number is displayed on the System detail tile.

Hope this helps.!!

Regards
Mahesh.
