HPE PRIMERA VLAN tagging on iSCSI host ports
Hello community,
I'd like to ask you if anyone of you has an expirience with VLAN tagging on HPE PRIMERA iSCSI host ports?
For example there would be VLAN trunk ports used for connection between SAN switches and iSCSI host ports on HPE PRIMERA and all 4 ports of one HBA slot would be configured for let say 2 VLANs (VLAN 100 and VLAN 101). The reason of this configuration would be separated ESXi HOSTs. Some HOST would use for iSCSI traffic VLAN 100 and some VLAN101. vSphere would be configured for port binding scenario.
Thanks in advance

Re: HPE PRIMERA VLAN tagging on iSCSI host ports
Hi Vesix
Yes, you can perform the VLAN tagging on HPE PRIMERA ISCSI host ports, and here's the Syntax for it.
The syntax for the controliscsiport command can be one of the following: controliscsiport addr <IP_address> <netmask|prefix_len> [-vlan <vlan_tag>] [-f] <node:slot:port>
Regards
Mahesh.
