Hello everyone, quick question here.
What ports and DNS names / IP addresses should be opened from Primera in order to connect to Infosight? We know that the port 443 is needed, however it is required for us to open only specific DNS names / IP addresses, not the whole internet.
Also should Nimble array itself access Infosight or SSMC?

Re: Primera Infosight port and domain requirements
I'll let someone else answer the Primera part of your question.
A Nimble has three outbound addresses: The group management and the two controller diagnostic addresses. All three need outbound TCP firewall ports to :
- TCP 2222 hogan.nimblestorage.com тАФ For a Secure Tunnel connection to Nimble Storage Support
- TCP 443 nsdiag.nimblestorage.com тАФ For Diagnostic Analysis and heartbeat
- TCP 443 nsalerts.nimblestorage.com тАФ Array alerts
- TCP 443 update.nimblestorage.com тАФ For software updates and downloads
- TCP 443 nsstats.nimblestorage.com тАФ Streaming Statistics & VMVision Per-VM Alerts
If making one-to-one ports, fifteen (3 by 5) in total.

Re: Primera Infosight port and domain requirements
Hello @Sheldon Smith
Thank you for the answer, unfortunately Nimble firewall requirements are not what I am looking for.
Information on Primera is nowhere to be found (unlike for Nimble).

SolutionFound an HPE document explaining all the requirements for Infosight connectivity. It can be found here.
