Hi
I've two Primera 650 arrays logging data into Infosight and it's mostly fine with the exception that neither show any data in the Performance Hi-Res Insights information. It just says that "Performance Insights is supported only with all flash arrays (SSD only)". But the Primera's are SSD only and I'm seeing the same behavior on both arrays - should this be working for me or am I missing something in the configuration\licenses?
Thanks

Re: Primera performance Insights
Hello @CadenLange,
Not all Primera systems are 'All flash'. Primera A630, A650 and A670 are all flash. Converged models like C630, C650 and C670 support FC and NL drives as well. Please check which is the exact model is yours.
Also check if call home is enabled under settings -> Telemetry -> support settings.

Srinivas Bhat

Re: Primera performance Insights
Hi
Thanks - the Primera is an A650 so should be fine for Hi-Res Insights. Everything else within InfoSight is reporting fine (including the Lo-Res Insights and VMware cross stack analytics ) - I assume that would suggest the call home is enabled ok? Or is it that the call home info is only for Hi-Res Insgihts?
Thanks C

Re: Primera performance Insights
Hello @CadenLange,
Can you please share the screenshot of the error and support settings configuration from Primera UI (Settings -> Telemetry -> Support Settings)?
Additionally, in Telemetry go to 'collect support data' -> Performance Data -> comprehensive and collect the data. Wait for 2 hours or more and check for hi-res data again.

Srinivas Bhat

Re: Primera performance Insights
Hi,
I see in InfoSight Bulletins:
HPE Alletra 9000/Primera/3PAR - Current Issues
Updated: October 11, 2022
Issue: HPE Alletra 9000, Primera, 3PAR & StoreOnce processing is currently impacted.
HPE Alletra 9000, Primera, 3PAR & StoreOnce are currently experiencing a data delay which impacts system updates, performance metrics, HPE InfoSight for HPE Alletra 9000, Primera, 3PAR - Cross Stack Analytics for VMware, software recommendation updates, new system registrations, etc.
Resolution:
The Engineering Team is currently working to resolve this issue.
----------------
However, you can contact the InfoSight Team by: Main Menu > Resources > General > InfoSight Support
They can take a look Inside the Data and Help.

Re: Primera performance Insights
Hi @sbhat09
I completed the comprehensive data collection and waited a few hours - but no hi-res data (lo-res chart are still ok)
I've uploaded a screen grab for the Settings -> Telemetry -> Support Settings and also of the error in Infosight
Below is what I see in Infosight

SolutionHello @CadenLange and @jlangmead,
As @Cali has pointed out, this must be due to the issue with HPE callhome servers. You can wait till the issue will be resolved or contact HPE InfoSIght support as directed by him.
