1783 - Slot xx Drive Array Controller Failure

I have the same problem as listed in thread
678719, with a smart array 3200 cntrl. The strange thing is when i plug the controller in an asus P2B (intel440bx) board the controller works fine. When i plug the controller to an intel L440GX board i get the "1783 - Slot xx Drive Array Controller Failure" ???? What seems to be the problem?? Any solution ??? Help!!!!

Hi there
Have you a Battery-Packed in your computer? If you have one, remove it and try again.
