4214 Tower enclosure

Hi,
I am currently upgrading my server with a Compaq Storageworks enclosure. This enclosure was decomissioned a while ago but is now being called back into service but the manuals are missing. Does any one have any of the manuals and if so can they email me them?

The manuals I am looking for if available are:
Set/up install guide
maintenance guide
tower to rack conversion instructions

In the future, just go to www.hp.com, and search for "storageworks 4214", (or whatever product you're looking for), and then select "Product manuals"...

Thanks for the reply but I have been to the site but it only has the manual for the rack version, which is not exactly what I am looking for as I am trying to check to see if any parts are missing and if required the part numbers for replacement parts.

Apparently it's the same box. They just add a cabinet for vertical mounting (which is very common with this type of box).

The insides should be the same.

Sorry I can't be totally sure about this, but it's a legacy Compaq product that I've never seen. This is what the documents I can find are saying.

For example, the User Guide from the link I posted has physical specs (sizes) for both the tower and rack versions of the product.

IF there are any different components between the models, it should be noted in those manuals.

Right, it's the same core. The 4214T User Guide refers you to the "StorageWorks Family Enclosure 4200 User Guide".

I had a 4214T at my desk and replaced the single with a dual-bus I/O module. There was a bad I/O slot in the box and I replaced the core with an M4354R.
