Proliant 5500 with SA4200. Upgrade to SA5300 ?

I have a Proliant 5500 2 x CPU, 2.5GB RAM tower that currently has a SA4200 installed with 2 x volumes and a total of 10 HD's.
Is it possible to install a 5300 family controller and gain anything from the SCSI 3 capabilities ?
