Smart Array 5300 Controllers
Hello,
one Question concerning the old 5300 Smart Array Controller series: Is it true that the internal 68-pin SCSI connectors only offer 160Mbit/s or is it just a Typo in the manual? I would have expected that the internal ports also offer the full Ultra3-speed of 160MByte/s.
Thank you for answering,
Martin

Re: Smart Array 5300 Controllers
I don't have any real measurement data, but I would find it *extremely* weird if it really were 160 Mbit/s (20 MB/s, a speed of good old UW-SCSI). After all, it *is* Ultra3 controller, which means it must do 160 MB/s. How else could it be called Ultra3?
