Migrate Simplivity Arbiter
Hello,
i will change the physical Windows Server i use as arbiter.
I search a process to do it flawlessly.
Could you please confirm this :
- Shutdown old Server
- Install Arbiter service to new server
- Use this command on each ovc
dsv-arbiter-instance-set --address x.x.x.x

you only need to run the command once
and then check
svt-federation-show

To Change the Simplivity Arbiter IP Address
Run the below commands.
1. dsv-arbiter-instance-set --address <arbiter IP address>
or
svt-arbiter-address-set
–-address <arbiter IP address> --datacenter <datacenter
name>
2. Enter:
psql -c "select * from storage_cluster"
or
svt-federation-show -–output xml
and confirm the
<arbiteraddress>
is updated with the new IP address.
