Mixed Cluster on same federation

Hello, We are going to update 3 different simplivity cluster with 3 different vcenter in 3 different site from verison 3.7.2 to 4.1.U1. I'm plannig to upgrade each cluster  to last version. Can I have different cluster version in same federation? I suspect that is possibile from 3.7.10 veriosn only.. what do you suggest? Coud I use last arbiter version to manage older cluster version? do you have any sugegst to perform the operation? thanks a lot Luigi
