Rapid DR protected site is unavailable
Hello,
I would like to know how to use RapidDR when the protected site (source center) is not available. In a situation where the site is down, can rapid DR still be used? I tried it and it seems it is not possible because, from the UI, it always tries to log in to the source center which is no longer available.

Re: Rapid DR protected site is unavailable
Hi,
If the DR site is up with its vCenter functional and having same details as per the plan created earlier, then RapidDR should be able to work even if the production site vCenter is not accessible.
When you choose option to Execute Failover and there it will the Production vCenter status as unavailable but you should be able to proceed as long as the DR vCenter is up and running.
Please let me know if you have further queries.
