RapidDR - How to recover when source site vcenter is not available
Hello All,
Please I need information on how to recover when the source site vcenter is not available and we need to restore VMs at the DR site. I suspect we can use the manual method but want to know if RapidDR can be used. Creating a plan and executing it from the recovery site would make it faster and easier to recover. Any ideas please. Thanks

Re: RapidDR - How to recover when source site vcenter is not available
Hi mcalantec
Thank you for confirming the version of HPE SimpliVity Rapid DR version.
Creating a plan and executing it from the recovery site would make it faster and easier to recover.
HPE SimpliVity RapidDR is a standalone DR orchestration utility that facilitates the recovery of a failed set of virtual machines from a source environment to a recovery environment in the event of a site disaster.
RapidDR also facilitates restoring virtual machines into the source environment after the source environment is restored.
It is recommended that you create a disaster recovery plan and save it so that you can access it later in case a disaster occurs.
I request you to go through the below link which will help you in Creating, Editing, Viewing, Testing Failover/Failback, and Executing Failover/Failback a Recovery Plan

I hope this helps.!!
Regards
Mahesh.
