Redeploy Fails with HMS Already Registered Erro
After booting HPE SimpliVity 380 hosts using the 4.0.1 tiny .img file usinf iLO to redeploy a couple of SVT hosts to a new vCenter 6.7 VCSA server, the following message is returned in the 4.0.1 HPE SimpliVIty Deployment Manager:
ERROR: Step 2 of 42 ERR_DPLY_FOUND_HOST_BY_NAME: Found host already registerd in HMS.
Both SVT hosts have been given new DNS hames!
How do I solve this problem?

Re: Redeploy Fails with HMS Already Registered Erro
Hello and thank you for using HPE Simplivity Forum.
Before starting the deployment did you remove the hosts from vCenter inventory? Also they need to be removed from federation as well before they can be added back.
I work at HPE
