The current Simplivity memory configuration consists of 12, 64GB memory,
CPU1 memory slots are 1, 3, 5, 8, 10, 12
CPU2 memory slots are 1, 3, 5, 8, 10, 12
consists of .
Four additional 32GB of memory must be installed here.

Re: Simplivity memory mix configure
Hi joosungkim,
Based on your query I understand you have 12 memory modules of 64GB and wanted to add 4 more memory modules of 32GB each which aggregates to a total of 8 memory modules instead of 6 in each processor.
For this configuration, according to the HPE documentation, the memory slots to be chosen are as below:
CPU1 memory slots are 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10
CPU2 memory slots are 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10
You may refer to the following document to understand this further in-depth:
https://www.hpe.com/psnow/doc/a00008180enw - Details can be found on Page no.80.
Other reference document:

Hope this works for you.
Regards,
Sanika.

Re: Simplivity memory mix configure
It seems that the method you told me was when I installed it with 64GB memory.
You must create a mixed configuration that adds two 32GB memory to the existing 64GB.
In this case, 64GB of memory must be installed in slots 1, 3, 5, 8, 10, and 12.
32GB of memory must be installed in slots 2, 4, 6, 7, 8, 11.
I only have two 32GB memory.
In this case, determine which slot will have 32GB of memory in slots 2, 4, 6, 7, 9, 11.
In which Slots should I install two 32GB memory?

SolutionHi joosungkim,
Each CPU can accommodate 2 memory modules in the following slots:
CPU1 - Slots 2, 4
CPU2 - Slots 2, 4
The memory will be equally distributed across the two CPUs and the slots will be filled in the correct order by doing so.
Please note that this is just one recommended configuration, other configurations may also work.

Sanika.
