Hello, all
i have some problem.
I configured Simplivity with 2 nodes using omnistack 4.0.0. and I wanted to create the datastore with fixed default backup policy simplivity. but there is no selection of Backup policy, which is in the popup windows "Create Datastore" in "HPE simplivity Federtaion"
Can I create manually the backup policy "fixed default backup policy simplivity"?
Thanks,
Wilm

SolutionHi @WilmHosenfeld,
Thanks for using the HPE SimpliVity forum!
The "default backup policy" is simply a pre-loaded backup policy shell for easing datastore creation at environment creation. We would recommend creating and tailoring your own backup policies depending on your requirements.
That being said there is nothing from stopping you re-creating the backup policy using the same name if it has been removed.
This can be done from the GUI by selecting > Administration > HPE SimpliVity Federation > Backup Policies > Create Backup Policy.
Anything else, let me know.
Regards,
David
