TPM 2.0
Are SimpliVity DL380 Gen10 G or Gen10 Plus nodes supported for adding and using TPM2.0 ?
Currently these nodes dont have a TPM2.0 module.
As we understand TPM2.0 is a requirement for using secure boot in 5.2.0

Re: TPM 2.0
Hi,
Yes, TPM 2.0 is supported for DL380 Gen10 and Gen10 plus.
TPM 2. 0 is required for Secure boot mode which is UEFI and Legacy boot mode.
When enabling the Trusted Platform module, observe the following guidelines:
- By default, the Trusted Platform Module is enabled as TPM 2.0 when the server is powered on after installing it.
- In UEFI Boot Mode, the Trusted Platform Module can be configured to operate as TPM 2.0 (default) or TPM 1.2.
- In Legacy Boot Mode, the Trusted Platform Module configuration can be changed between TPM 1.2 and TPM 2.0 (default), but only TPM 1.2 operation is supported.
For more information, please refer this guide.

Re: TPM 2.0
Hello @Convergo ,
Starting with HPE SimpliVity 5.2.0, support for UEFI Secure Boot for virtual machines and VMware ESXi hosts is enabled through Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0.
Thanks,
Sahana S

Re: TPM 2.0
Hi,
Support reverted back on this question:
The TPM 2.0 module
In case both nodes do not have the TPM 2.0 module installed, which means that you would need to purchase ones first from HPE to install to the motherboards to clear the first requirement of enabling secure boot.
For Gen 10 server only:
