Upgrade questions

Need to upgrade hosts and vCenter versions. Will be my first time running an upgrade. 6 hosts in 2 clusters.

  1. How long does each host take to do the auto-update generally? Gen10 HPE hardware.

  2. Am I being overly cautious if I want to split the upgrades into vCenter and hosts separately? I know I'll need to open support cases both times this way, but I'm okay with that?

Appreciate any insights.

Hi

The Simplivity part of the upgrade is only the Simplivity version that is the OVC arbiter and Vcenter plug-in

all othe parts are really simple vmware or vcenter upgrades.

I would do only the Simplvity part with HPE including cimmit  and the rest do by your self.
