vCenter Plug-in Cannot access Virtual Controller Information
Good day.
I have a vCenter Server 6.7 U1b in windows 2016, in that vCenter there are 2 simplicity nodes with version 3.7.9, the client wants to solve VMWare vulnerabilities
Virtual SAN Health Check Plugin (CVE-2021-21985)
VMware vCenter Server RCE
- https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/82374
The server was affected as the articles say, but the section "The HPE SimpliVity Plug-in communicates with the federation through the following Virtual Controller" framed error "Cannot access Virtual Controller Information" rolled back but continued with the same symptoms, after The vCenter server was restarted but it did not take effect, the vCenter UI was restarted after approximately 5 minutes, the Plug-in information was visible, it is required to do the vCenter activities but what can I do, what do you recommend that I review so that this does not happen.
Greetings

Re: vCenter Plug-in Cannot access Virtual Controller Information
Hello @jdiaz220481
This issue has been addressed in newer software versions of Simplivity, see this article:
https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docLocale=en_US&docId=hpesbst04178en_us
Your best option is to upgrade vCenter and Simplivity software/firmware/ESXi.
Thanks.
