VMSA-2025-0013
I know 8.0U3e was just released and added to the Interop Guide. Is there an ETA for when U3f will be approved for install to cover the latest security patch?
Thanks.

Re: VMSA-2025-0013
The SimpliVity ESX 8.0 U3f custom offline bundle will be coming in early Sept. Until then, you can source the patch directly from Broadcom and install the patch via esxcli. The Interop Guide will be updated when the bundle is released. Until then, you can manually install the patch and continue to receive support from HPE SimpliVity.
Cheers!

Re: VMSA-2025-0013
Thanks Kipp. Can we expect that moving forward that we are good to install ESXi security patches (not major version upgrades) and still be in compliance with support even though it's not in the InterOp guide?
I know it's stated that way for vcenter server but thought ESXi was different.
Appreciate it!

Re: VMSA-2025-0013
Happy to announce support for minor ESXi patch updates. The Interop Guide has been updated. Here is the Customer Notice announcing the change:

Re: VMSA-2025-0013
Hi Kipp,
it's already close to mid September. Are there any news regarding the new ESXi Images? Since we already patched to 7 U3w we cannot get to 8 without an U3g image. And we have to proceed with the upgrade asap.
thanks

Re: VMSA-2025-0013
Good day,
I wanted to inform you that there has been a delay in the release of the SimpliVity ESXi Customer Bundles. We now anticipate availability in early October.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding.
