Hello,
I'm new to the Synergy line and have a very basic hardware question.
At what speed does the 4820C CNA operate, and under what circumstance?
I am currently assuming that it works at:
- 10GB in converged (i.e., FC + ethernet)
- 20GB in ethernet only mod when using 40GB Virtual Connect.
- 25GB in ethernet only mode when a Virtual Connect SE 100GB F32 i installed in the interconnect bay.
Can someone confirm this is correct?

SolutionThe answer came from another member, whom I have thanked.
"- The speed at which the CNA connects to the VC (Virtual Connect) interconnect, id determined by the speed of the ILT.
- If you have a 10Gb ILT then the CNA connects at 10Gb and if you have a 20Gb ILT it connects at that speed.
- If this CNA is linked with a VC 100Gb then it will connect either at 25Gb or 50Gb depending on the ILT speed.
ILT : VC master - satellite architecture cascaded across the frames."
