Cold boot for Synergy Blade
When I have had a failure applying a server profile, OneView tells me to "Cold Boot" the server and re-apply attempt to re-apply the SP. Does cold boot mean just power off the server, or pulling the blade to completely connect power?

Re: Cold boot for Synergy Blade
Hi
You should be able to power down the blade from OneView or the iLO. The blade will need to be powered down to apply the profile so I'd just power it off via OneView (Hold and Press) and check in the iLO that it's turned off.
If that doesn't fix it you could try the following - https://hpe-docs.gitbook.io/posh-hpeoneview/cmdlets/v5.20/servers/reset-hpovenclosuredevice

Re: Cold boot for Synergy Blade
Cold boot simply means to power it off fully and then power back on. Not a reset of the server. Do you have a specific situation where applying a profile resulting in this error that you can provide further details?
