Need to move Sy480 Gen10 without changing WWPN
I have 4 frames with a single logical enclosure and a single logical interconnect. I need to move one SY480 from one frame to another without the WWPN changing.
Will the compute unit keep the WWPN, or is there something I will need to do?
Thanks

Re: Need to move Sy480 Gen10 without changing WWPN
If no, then you need to recreate the server profile. When you do, you can provide User Specified address, and provide the original WWPN. Keep in mind that there is no way for the two independent Composers to know if those addresses are still in use or not. So you do run the risk of pots tially duplicate addresses in the future.
