Thanks to Everyone in Community!
Customer complaining he is not able to get serial numbers list for all optical modules, which were installed in his standalone Synergy 12000 system (no additional management infrastructure exists). The system has a pair of 'Synergy 50Gb Interconnect Link Module' and a pair of 'Virtual Connect SE 100Gb F32 Module for Synergy' installed. He said he tried to look into OneView inventory reports by system and by interconnect module.
As the system is at site with restricted access, and I'm not sure in each Customer's steps - I'm planning to visit Customer. But I need to prepare some 'B-plans' to reach the main goal. So, my questions are:
- Which web-report might have the desired serials?
- Is it possible to list the serials in SSH session? Which set of command does that?
- Is this goal achievable via Service Request (with transfer of support dump file) only?
- Idea of pulling out the modules, one by one with pauses, to record their serials - was left as the last resort.
Thank You!

Re: Synergy 12000, list optical modules serial numbers - how-to
Can you clarify what you mean by "optical modules"? Does it refer to optical cable transceiver modules? Your examples read as if they are interested in the interconnect modules and OneView provides the SN for all those in the GUI. If it is in the UI, they can script it using the published RESTapi or perhaps with the supported PowerShell modules. There is also a standard interconnect report that includes all the SNs, but they are not "optical modules".
There is no SSH or CLI interface.

Re: Synergy 12000, list optical modules serial numbers - how-to
Dan, You are right: I meant the optical cable tranceiver modules (former 'GBICs' a lot of yers ago).
The only report about interconnects they were able to got - is the interconnect modules list (quoted CSV). I'm still confused, why it's not possible to 'drill down into each interconnect module' and see the properties of modules plugged-in. Still negotiating the visit to them, Thursday or Friday , possibly...

SolutionYou can drill down. There are no stock reports that do it. You must script what you need using the RESTapi or PowerShell modules. It's in there:

Re: Synergy 12000, list optical modules serial numbers - how-to
@DanCernese, You are great! The visit is done: I came to the site, accessed the web-console, dived into each interconnect module, and noted the info about each transceiver module. No issues, no difficulties. A lot of thanks for the support!
