Hello HPE Community,
I am planning to upgrade my HPE OneView from version 8.9 to 9.10.01, followed by an upgrade to 9.4.
According to advisory a00142318, the upgrade might fail if the Composer's iLO5 firmware does not meet the minimum requirements for versions 9.0 to 10.1
https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docLocale=en_US&docId=a00142318en_us
My question is: Is it mandatory to update the iLO5 firmware before upgrading to 9.10.01, or is this issue addressed in this Service Pack? Thank you in advance!

Re: Upgrade from OneView 8.9 to 9.4 - iLO5 Firmware Question
The advisory is pretty clear about that. It explicitely says
"Does the HPE_Synergy_Composer2_Update_Z7550-97855.bin file need to be installed before upgrading to version 9.10.01 or 8.60.02?"
"No, it is not required to be installed prior to upgrading to these versions."
fyi-- these are not "service packs".
