Vlan to netwok set migration

Hi ,

We are currently running several synergy 480 blades connected for user purposes to only one VLAN (VLAN100) with two connections; We aslo have storage connection and admin connection but it's fine for these ones.

We would like to migrate these connections from Direct VLAN connection (Untagged in  a network point of view) to Network Set (Tagged in multiple VLAN). NEtwork sets hav already been created and setup to use VLAN 100 and vothe VLANs.

I' m lloking for the best way to do this with the minimum maintenance time.

First possible way (in my mind)

Should I modify the Server profile template to use network set and reapply It to server hardware one by one ? Can I reapply profile while server is running ?

Runnings baldes are they impacted by a server profile template update ?

Second Way :

Modify Server profile connections server by server, and after that modify teh server profile template in case or template reapply!

Can i do this while server is powered on ?

You can make the needed changes from the Profile Template.  If you do, please ensure that when you make this change OS networking will be broken until you fix that part.
