A5120 monitoring
Hi,
I have 2Q:
Could I update firmware by WebManagement of A5120-48 SI? I uploaded the bin file, but the guides describe only via COM port for CLI commands.
Is there a lite application for monitoring of one A5120-48 SI?
Thank you
Karel

Re: A5120 monitoring
Karel,
I would need to know a little more information... What version of software are you running? The web availability on the switches is different between models and some models don't have it at all.
To update the software, I would use the CLI approach if that is possible for you.
The HP preferred monitoring solution would be iMC. However, the switches do support SNMP so you could monitor them with a network management tool of your choosing. I warn you that your mileage may vary though. The switch MIBS are available but not all 3rd party network management tools work with our switches.
Regards,
David
