Backup Config Juniper Netscreen SSG5

[SEIT]

I want to backup the config of some Juniper netscreen ssg5 but it fails with the error "Failed to obtain the device version."

I have IMC Version 7.3 (E0605P06) on a windows server.

SNMP and login settings are successfully tested.

Hello,

According to your logs, it looks like IMC tries to backup your device using TFTP, which is not likely to be enable on a firewall.

Try to configure the backup to use SFTP. Even if it not the issue that you have it is definitely worth doing it.
