iMC 7.1 / how to restore a config from an failed device on a newly added?

what is the best way to restore a daily backuped configuration of a switch to a newly added switch via IMC?

In my scenario there crashed/failed the old switch id like to replace it with a new one (same model).

Any good best pratices for this case?

We normally don't do this much, but we just take the backup file from IMC and place it on a USB drive.  Then copy from the USB drive text file to the startup-config.  Unfornatally, there are some things that IMC does not capture, such as passwords (especially SNMPv3 Password) so it's best if you have a backup document will all that information on it.
