IMC DB disk usage full
We are having issues with our IMC 7.3 DB we have the following critical alarms. The failed to connect is also for ead,imc_monitor, imc_wsm, imc_vnm, imc_inventory, imc_qosm, unba_master.
In UNBA Server 127.0.0.1,the usage of the disk where the database file resides exceeded the Threshold 90%. Failed to connect to database tam@127.0.0.1/tam. Reason: Connecting to the database failed.
We have noticed the WLAN_DB is completely full and has what seems to be thousands of tables similar to this tbl_hour_20190329_11651 several times everyday at 1:00 AM with absolutely nothing in them (see attached). The table tbl_wids_rogue_his is well over 2 GB and is holding information from back to 2015 which we don't need.

Re: IMC DB disk usage full
I would like to know if the IMC was recently upgraded and issue started after that or its persisting since long back.

Re: IMC DB disk usage full
IMC was upgraded from like 7.1 all the way to 7.3. We don't use the server a whole lot so we could have been having these issues since then and just have not noticed.

Re: IMC DB disk usage full
If that is the case I will suggest you to lock a case with HPE for IMC.
There can be multiple reasons for it and need analysis for all the logs for issue to be resolved.

Re: IMC DB disk usage full
I will have to try to work with HP but unfortunately we either don't have a support contract or no one knows what the contract number is.
