IP Address of Device Interface Changed
IP of interface "vlan x" changed from IP\MASKto "N/A".
I received this warning message for all VLANs on a switch but logging into the switch there is no change nor any entry in the log. After 12 hours I received the same message reversed from all VLANs on a switch.
I also sometimes get a warning message IP of interface "VLAN x" changed from IP\MASK ,0.0.0.0\255.255.255.255 to "IP/MASK", and the reverse a while later.
Is this a bug in the software? I'm running 5.2.

Re: IP Address of Device Interface Changed
Hi
We are using two HP 5820-AF-24XG as core switches and multiple HP 5130-48G-4SFP+ EI as access switches. All access switches did fire this warning: IP of interface "InLoopBack0" changed from 127.0.0.1\255.0.0.0 to "N/A" in our iMC PLAT 7.2 (E0403P04). I am not really into iMC, so I would like to know what happened and if this is critical for us. For me it sounds like the Loopback address ist set to N/A. But why? We didn't change anything in configuration but Updated a few days ago from E0403 to E0403P04. Thanks in advance for any infomation.
Dirk

Re: IP Address of Device Interface Changed
[switch]snmp-agent mib-view excluded ViewDefault 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.4.1.1.2.0.10
or
[switch]snmp-agent mib-view excluded ViewDefault hhpeIpAddrReadMask
it will fix your problem.
