login to imc via newly created account always fails
i have created a few new user accounts in our imc v7.2.
login attempts to these new accounts always fail. the correct passwork is being entered.
the operator log show the account creation succeeded.
is there any inobvious step i'm missing. the only error message i get on the login failure is:
"operator or password is incorrect."
what am i missing?

in the absence of a solution, i simply used LDAP authenication as opposed to 'password' (local password on the imc server).
all's go now.

Can you provide some assistance with the LDAP authentication? I have input everything correctly and double-checked the information but I always get
"Authentication server is not available. Please contact the administrator."
I know other people in my organization that have never been able to solve this problem and I am looking everywhere to find out why I can't get LDAP authentication working for operators to log in. Any information you have would be appreciated.

I had the same problem - I think it is an ldap querry issue
I resolved the problem by using a radius server that is connected to the AD,
