Trap log length

Does anyone know how to adjust how long/how many traps IMC retains?

As we're adding more devices to IMC we're quickly finding our trap log only goes back about one day. We're probably generating too many traps, which is one issue, and I can probably filter some out....

But basically I'd like to go back further but can't find anywhere to configure this.

Any ideas?

Check your settings.

Go to System -> Data Export Settings.

That has options for time-based and/or volume-based export.

(and yes, you almost certainly are generating too many events. Probably need to do better filtering on devices, e.g. disable link up/down events on desktop ports, and make sure your STP settings are right, in case you are getting a lot of TCN-related STP events)

I really had searched the documentation but couldn't find anything that fitted my description. Clearly a terminology gap.
