IBM Agents for HP IRS

Hi,

Where can I find the IBM Agents capable of work with HP IRS?

I've installed IBM Systems Director Common Agent version  6.3.5 in a server that I know has an hardware problem.

To start with, I can only register the server if I add the WMI protocol, which is nowhere in the manual. Only SNMP.

After registed I no service event is triggered.

That's why I think the agent I've installed is not working correctly with IRS.

Should it be version 6.1.1. ONLY, as says in the manual:

Important: Insight RS only supports agent version 6.1.1.

If so, where can I find this version to download. I can't find it anywhere.

PS: The server I've installed the agent is a blade. It's enclousure is also monitored using SNMP

Does anyone knows where can I find this IBM Agents? Or if it has to be of the exact 6.1.1 version?

HPE only supports IBM Systems Director Common Agent version 6.1.1 for IRS Monitoring. The OS installed on the IBM Servers should be Win-2008 and protocol supported in SNMP. The agents need to be downloaded from IBM website.

IBM website is the obvious place to look for. The problem is that the minimum version in the site is 6.2.1.

So, I belive 6.1.1 is no long supported, and thus, is not available.

I've searched all the internet for these agents, with no result. Do you know a reliable site where to download the 6.1.1 agents from?

Yes, its sad that the version ceritifed by HPE is already EOSL by IBM. I have looked into this and was not abel to download this particular version. Need to check with some cstoemr who still running old IBM servers if they still have the old agent kit.
