Unable to view "Remote Support Pack Services" in the left pane
Hi All,
I have done the necessary setup to migrate from ISEE to RSP. I have been able to install HP SIM5.3 and RSSWM including all the necessary packages (Remote Support Client A.05.20) within RSSWM.
I am also able to view and configure "Remote Support and configurations" under "Options" in HP SIM console.
I have been able to successfully discover my Eva Storages however, i dont see "Remote Support Pack Services" in the left pane.
Is there anything that I might be missing???
Thanks in advance for any help.
Regards,
Jay

Hello Jay,
can you explain, which Remote Support Pack Services you in the left pane want to see?

Re: Unable to view "Remote Support Pack Services" in the left pane
hello,
I am unable to see "Remote Support and configurations" collection and therefore, unable to see "RSP SAN". Since, i am not able to "RSP SAN" in the left pane I am unable to create a custom group which could be used to map EVA devices from the "Storage" Collection.
Thanks Again.
Regards,
Jay

Re: Unable to view "Remote Support Pack Services" in the left pane
Hello Jay,
for the normal RSP fuunctions (send failure to hp) are the RSP Services not necessary. You need only the flags: Settings and Entitlement.
The other flags are only for proactive Services and Collections.

Marcus
