Unified Collector SCA Connect Error
Customer running RCSS Unified Collector and getting the following errors.
Jun 02 2010 13:26:43.313 | uc | INFO | SCA_TMessenger: The connection to the
endpoint device, 39E11F40, could not be completed, and returned an SCA-CONNECT-
ERROR. Please validate that the HP SMH service is running on the endpoint, and
also that the proper certificate exchange has been performed, SMH certificate
imported into SIM, and SIM certificate imported into SMH, and retry the collect
ion.

The certificate is seen on SMH of the HP-UX server. The SMH service is running. The identify system show the trusted Status as true. The CMS certificate was imported in SMH on Hp-ux and the hp-ux certificate cert.pem imported on the CMS. This worked for over 50 servers. But 2 server fail, with the connection to the
endpoint device, 39E11F40, could not be completed, and returned an SCA-CONNECT-
ERROR.
Any ideas?

Gina,
I know you said that hpsmh was running on the HP-UX server, but did you try restarting it? Often hpsmh is running but it is not actually paying attention.
