Disabling iLO/BMC resets while allowing power/system reset
Here at HP Virtual Labs, we maintain environments for remote training deliveries. Some of our courses we rx2620 servers. We need to allow students to access (via web) all power control settings and to reset the system remotely, but we must not allow them access to setting/resetting the iLO/MP/BMC passwords or to reset the iLO/MP to it's default configuration. We created a specific user account for them, but I can't see how to set their access privileges to our needs.
Any ideas? If not - can someone tell me how to log a problem report with engineering for the rx2620.
Firmware Revisions:
iLO MP: E.03.30
BMC: 04.01
EFI: 05.46
System Firmware: 04.10
Thanks - Walt

Re: Disabling iLO/BMC resets while allowing power/system reset
Hi Walt,
assuming you're working at HP, send me some private mail from your hp.com address and I'll send you some contact names of some folks that are or were associated with this area within HP. (Use my forum name and the domain below.) I'd rather not post the names of the HP folks here, for obvious reasons.
