FC HBA (A6826A) connection to HDS

Hi all,
I am trying to present a HDS 9980v disk to a linux RHEL3U4 (rx4640) without success. The HBA is an A6826A (Qlogic). I had also updated the firmware from 1.30 to 1.42.

It worked fine after changing the HBA to an Emulex 9002L. So the path in between is working.

Has anybody experienced anything similar?
