Is it possible to have this memory configuration in one rx7640?
Hi,
I have one server with this configuration
2Gb + 2Gb
2Gb + 2Gb
2Gb + 2Gb
2Gb + 2Gb
And I want to put 16Gb more like:
2Gb + 2Gb
2Gb + 2Gb
2Gb + 2Gb
2Gb + 2Gb
4Gb+ 4Gb
4Gb+ 4Gb
Is it possible? It's correct?
Thanks a lot of?
Carmen.

I'm going to take a wild guess that you're talking about memory???? EDIT: If I'd pay any attention to the title, I wouldn't need to make dumb guesses!
You need to follow the rule that the highest density [SD}IMMS go in the lowest numbered slots, so no, your desired configuration is not correct.
