Re: Not able to open console of the Integrity VM host
Thanks.
My array controller is "PCIe SAS SmartArray P400 RAID Controller"
I want to clarify myself about Integrity VM and vPAR.
1)The below output confirms that we can use this OS for Integrity VM and vPAR.
# swlist -l bundle | grep -i virtual
HPUX11i-VSE-OE B.11.31.0903 HP-UX Virtual Server Operating Environment
2)The below output confirms that Integrity VM (HPVM) is installed.
# swlist -l product | grep -i hpvm
AVIO-GVSD B.11.31.0903.01 HPVM Guest AVIO Storage Software
AVIO-HVSD B.11.31.0903 HPVM Host AVIO Storage Software
HPVM B.04.10 Integrity VM HPVM
PHCO_37328 1.0 mkboot(1M) patch for LVM and HPVM
PHKL_37361 1.0 Enable HPVM to use HP-UX 11.31 Sept 07 OE as the host
PHKL_38630 1.0 TLB,MCA Recovery,HPVM,NUMA,P-State
3)The below output confirms that vPAR has been installed.
# swlist -l product | grep -i vpar
PHKL_38646 1.0 Page Table Mgmt, MCA/Fault on vPars/IPF
PHKL_38772 1.0 vPars PSM component for vPars A.05.05 release
VPAR-Core B.11.31 HP-UX Kernel support for Virtual Partitions
VParProvider B.11.31.01.02 vPar Provider
4)Is HPVM installed by default?
5)Is VPAR installed by default?

Re: Not able to open console of the Integrity VM host
You cannot run vPars on this server, but on cell based machines only.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
